According to a press release, MahaRERA, the Housing Regulator in Maharashtra has released a list of 314 project in Maharashtra. Daman and Diu, which have gone into insolvency process.
Various Banks and Financial Institutions have started insolvency proceedings against the builder who are listed in report.
MahaRERA has cautioned buyers about buying property in these projects.
This report has appeared in many newspapers but as usual, they have refrained from providing the list on their website. The reasons are obvious, these defaulter builders are still advertisers with these leading newspapers.
The newspapers have conveniently said that the list can be found on the MahaRERA website and not even provided a link to the list!
